As the old saying goes, "More people are afraid of public speaking than fear of dying!" If you're one of those people, do not worry, with these ten tips so you can quickly have them eating out your hand, giving you a standing ovation and demanding an encore! Her real - stand up and speak in public is easier with practice, but for everyone, there is still a first time! Learning to the fear of vital importance if you do your business to the next level of success. Use the following to you the confidence that you need to pick up the phone and speak your offer services to all relevant groups and associations in your area ... 1 Talk only about topics you understand. Failing to observe this golden rule will lead to you ever caught out sooner or later! And do not forget to show enthusiasm for your subject - if you do not get excited about this, chances are nobody else will.
2 Establish yourself as the authority on your topic that you will instant credibility with your audience. Keep it brief and to explain why people should listen to and believe in you! Do this in no more than three sentences.
3 Remember that your audience the main idea is "What's in it for me?" Make sure you answer the unspoken question in your introduction - and when you introduce an element of curiosity, then few of them sitting on the edge of their seats, desperate for more information.
4
never, never start with a presentation by saying that you're nervous, or that you've never done this kind of thing. You'll only draw attention to most things you want to hide. Indeed, your audience will begin looking for evidence to back up what you say. And if the unexpected happens and you find yourself having to wing it on the spot, then wing - but not tell your audience. You will not get sympathy, instead you just unprofessional.
5 Breathe! Nervousness can breathe superficial - which will not help the timbre or the projection of your voice. It also helps to a glass of water handy, your voice dry or should you need a little thinking time (pause for a sip of water makes you look confident). 6 Stand in making presentations - gives you an air of authority. Actually, it is often the fact that we are while everyone else is the meeting which makes us so uncomfortable when making presentations. It can be done with a view levels - usually when we talk to people that we are in a similar eye level, which helps in creating report. Think about talking with a child for a moment, if you want them to feel more comfortable, it's usually a good idea to crouch down so that your heads are the same level. But exactly the opposite occurs when we are facing a presentation. Just understanding this can help reduce your anxiety. 7 Use your energy - your auric field - to attract your audience. For the start of your presentation, a few moments - perhaps while you are being introduced 'mentally visualize your energy field to expand to the whole room. It is worth practicing in advance if it is a very powerful tool that will ensure that your audience warm to you automatically, without quite understanding why. 8 Be aware that communication with others is more than your words. In fact, only 7% of your words are taken into account - the rest of your communication is understood by the tone of your voice and body language.
9 Invest in the style and color of the clothes that suit you best. Women have to wake up and (non-dangly) earrings, to see "ready". Open-toed shoes look less professional and men should never wear white or grey socks or shoes. Wearing a jacket keep authority and taking into account the fact that you have the right dress for the message - and for the public. 10 Finally, remember that nobody knows what you say in your talk anyway - so do not worry if you are a part of your speech - nobody else will be the wiser!
