A wise oldman was asked by his guest.
Guest: "Actually what is feeling 'bored', old man?"
Old Man: "Bored is a state where the mind wants a change, longing for something new, and want a cessation of routine monotonous life and circumstances from time to time."
Guest: "Why do we feel bored?"
Old Man: "Because we are never satisfied with what we have."
Guest: "How to eliminate boredom?"
Old Man: "Only one way, enjoy it, then we would be free of it "
Guest: "How is it possible to enjoy the boredom?"
Old Man: "Ask yourself: why do you never get bored eating the same rice every day?"
Guest: "Since we eat rice with a different vegetable and side dish, old man."
Old Man: "That's right, my boy, add something new in your routines then boredom would be lost."
Guest: "How to add a new things into a routine?"
Old Man: "Change the way you do the routine. If you usually write while sitting, try to write while squatting or lying down. If you usually read in a chair, try to read while walking or jumping up and down. If you usually call with the right hand, try it with your left hand or by foot if possible. And so on. "
Then the guests went away.
A few days later the guests were visiting the old man again.
Guest: "The old man, I've done what you suggest, why do I still feel bored, too?"
Old Man: "Try to do something childish."
Guest: "For example? "
Old Man: "Play the game the most you like when a child."
Then the guests went away.
Bored
A few weeks later, the guests returned to the house of Old Man.
Guest: "The old man, I did what you suggest. In any free time I play all my child games that I like. And the miracle happen. Until now I never feel bored again, although I do the things that I once considered boring. Why be so, old man? "
Smiling Old Man said: "Because everything actually comes from your own mind, my son. Boredom is also derived from the mind that thinks about the boredom. I told you to play like a kid for your mind to be cheerful. Now you do not feel bored anymore because your mind thinking about the joy, that defeating your mind about boredom. Everything comes from the mind. Thinking bored makes you're bored. Thinking happy makes you happy. "...
